Botox
Botox is used for the treatment of wrinkles and prophylaxis of migraine headaches. It works by temporarily reducing muscle activity and causing relaxation of the overlying skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure includes multiple small injections to the affected area. The procedure is uncomfortable. Some of the discomfort can be reduced by applying ice before the procedure. The results of the botox are apparent after 14 days.
